Kisha Lewellyn Schlegel’s most recent essay will be in the next issue of Drunken Boat (DB15). Other essays have appeared in The Seneca Review , Gulf Coast, and elsewhere, and have received numerous awards. She holds a Masters in Environmental Studies from the University of Montana, and is now a graduate student in the University of Iowa’s Nonfiction Writing Program where she teaches creative nonfiction and rhetoric.
